The program has been designed upon "European Recommendation for the Application of Metal Sheeting Acting as a Diaphragm Stressed Skin Design" and upon PN-EN 1993-1-3.

Program allows to estimate influence of a sheeting on a strength and flexibility of a building frame or on a strength and flexibility of individual structure members, such as purlins or rafters.

The diaphragm action of the roof sheeting and its supprting members can be used to replace wind bracing in the plane of the roof with both a saving in material and a simplificatio of the detaling. Both leading to decrease of the building cost.

Version 2007 had major improvements of user interface (more navigational buttons) and larger profiles data base (BLACHY PR USZYŃSKI, BUDMAT , BALEXMETAL).
Version E 2.0.0 beside being focused on PN-EN-1993-1-3, has also enlarged list of profiles (sheets produced by BLACHPROFIL 2 has been included). User interface has been improved as well.
Version E 2.1 has updated data base and enlarged range of acceptable profiles. Runs in Polish and English.
Version 2.2.3 has the profiles data base updated and enlarged again.
Version 2.2.4 removed error concerning acting of a diaphragm as a cantiliver.
Version 2.2.5 has enlarged diagnosis of input-data and improved results edition in English. Termination of the support for HASP dongles.
In version 2.2.6 an error with graphical presentation of results has been corrected.
In version 2.4 has updated and enlarged (added BLACHOTRAPEZ) sheetds library, modified both: user interface and presentation of results.
Version 2.5 contains updated data base of trapezoidal sheets and is adjusted to Windows 10.
Version 2.5.1 contains updated data base of trapezoidal sheets, simplified usage and adjusted to Windows 11.
